Jason Lo

Chief Executive Officer

Jason founded Protocom Technology in 1997 after recognising the impending rapid growth of mobile messaging. He has over 20 years of practical experience in software design, system integration and business development in the telecommunications industry. His career has been associated with such companies as MessasgeTech, Telstra and EasyCall Group.

As CEO of Protocom Jason has led over 10 years of business growth including international expansion. Under his leadership Protocom has delivered cutting edge technologies to tier-1 carriers and major enterprise corporations and continues to drive innovative solutions into these industry sectors.

Jason holds a Bachelor and Honours Degree in Computer Science from the University of Sydney and an MBA from the University of Technology Sydney.

Ken Benson

Chairman

Ken has over 35 years experience in the telecommunication industry in Australia, UK and New Zealand.

He chairs the Advisory Board which leads the development of Protocom's strategic direction.

Ken has worked globally delivering IT systems and telecommunications networks and has had extensive experience as a senior executive in Telstra, British Telecom, Telecom NZ. He has also consulted to companies in the energy, environment and government sectors in the Asia Pacific region. Ken is an experienced board member and is currently a board member of Kordia NZ. Ken currently runs his own consulting business and acts as business advisor to the telelcommunications and energy field. He is also undertakes executive coaching to a range of CEO and senior management in varied industries.

Chris Stephenson

Board Advisor

Chris Stephenson is a management consultant and the Principal of Managerial Decision Making (MDM) a company specialising in business consulting services for the telecommunications industry. He has extensive deep experience in telecommunications and specialises in strategic decision making at top management levels. Chris has been focussing on working with HP and their customers.

Prior to founding MDM Chris held VP (Regional CEO) level positions with Amdocs, Comverse, Versant as well as a General Manager- Government role at Oracle Corporation. He created and managed teams spanning Australia, New Zealand, USA, Malaysia, Thailand, Philippines, Hong Kong, Japan, India, Singapore, Korea, and Israel to integrate and deliver complex transformational solutions to many carriers across Asia Pacific and ANZ. All of Chris's companies have reached leading concurrent market share, profit, and customer satisfaction positions in their domains.

Chris has an MBA with majors in Marketing and Strategy from University of New England and a doctorate (DBA) from Southern Cross University for research into causes of poor top management team decision making.
